The Fell

The Fell

Have you ever gone hiking on a trail without a map or knowledge of the area? This week’s post The Fell touches upon this topic with deeper step of the writing of applying it beyond the trail to life too. Read, connect, and learn!

The Fell

When following the trails of the fells of the Lake District,

You can either have no map or a map.

Without a map you can wing your way to your final destination.

Play a guessing game on the way.

You can only hope walking into someone who knows the trails better than you.

Otherwise, you walk aimlessly with purpose questioning how to best ration your food and water.

Oh, how I want to eat more food now, but should I?

When you have a map, you can make clearer decisions about your course of action.

With a map you will find the quickest way to the waterfall instead of the long way around.

Having a map ahead of time can help you plan out snack and drink portions beforehand.

The map may change over time depending on the changes to the path.

When you have a map, you can help guide others who do not have a map.
