Bonfire Nights

Bonfire Nights

Nothing feels quite like bonfire nights.

Sitting around the fire with friends

And the fire following you.

Marshmallows getting lit for levels of barely touched, golden, and burnt.

Seeing the stars glimmer in the sky on the clear nights

And pushing the limits with the chance for rain on cloudy nights.

Sharing stories with the surrounding company

Which turn into memories to share at the next fire.

Watching until the fire burns all the way out.

I cannot wait for the next bonfire night.
