Fortune Teller

Fortune Teller

Did you ever make one of those paper fortune tellers in grade school? Part of it would have colors on it and numbers which would dictate how many times the paper contraption would make moves. The final part of the activity would end with a paper flap being opened for a kind of fortune being told. Now this frivolous childhood activity was all for fun, however wouldn’t it be fun to actually be able to know the future? I have been using some old activities from my past as creativity breaks which have been helping me relax and think better. Hence, this week’s post, Fortune Teller. As always, read and connect to your own situation as best fits. Enjoy!

Fortune Teller

Red, Yellow, Orange, or Blue?

What else should I do?

I am making moves.

Moves I hope which will show me what will be.

Next decision.

One, Two, Three, or Four?

What will I need to do to know more?

Make a choice.

Then, have an answer.

Good, Neutral, or Bad.

However, the fortune teller I have is completely blank.

I do not have any answers for the questions I have.

I wish my fortune teller could give fill the uncertainty,

And in the meantime I will keep doing me.

I may not be told my future,

So I will make my own way.
