Nostalgia

I have been reading Ready Player One for the first time and am enjoying all of the 80’s nostalgia packed into the story. Revisiting all of those pop culture referenced remnants of the past got me thinking about nostalgia again. Nostalgia is quite a fun trip to memory’s past, yet it is not the only part of life. Nostalgia is such a fickle matter.

Go take a bite to eat

And experience a bittersweet treat.

Lay in bed comforted by the nostalgia

Of the actual good old times

And the not actual good old times

That are made to feel like they were.

Start cleaning out your room.

Plan to complete the task in under an hour,

Then find objects of your past leading to the task now taking hours.
