Gratitude List

This week’s post prepares for the mindset for this week with Thanksgiving. Although the holiday of focusing on what we are grateful for is one day out of the year, it is good to get into a habit of writing out what you are grateful for every day. Below of I have posted the Gratitude List as what I am grateful of for this past year. The following is only a small chunk out of many things that I could write out, but I needed to be mindful of your time and my time. What are you grateful for this year?

  • ·         God for helping me through this past year

  • ·         My family for their love and support

  • ·         My friends who are old and new as well as far and near

  • ·         Plans going the way I wanted them to go in a way I did not want them to go

  • ·         All of the people who I would put in the category of Bigfoot through their influence in my life

  • ·         Adventures of the expected and unexpected sorts

  • ·         Writing

  • ·         Reading

  • ·         Learning

  • ·         My dog

  • ·         Growth Mindset

  • ·         New music released when I needed for where I was in life at that time (AJR, Twenty One Pilots, Jon Bellion, and Judah and the Lion)

  • ·         Sports, especially basketball and running

  • ·         Finding authentic English scones in the States

  • ·         Graduating from my undergraduate studies

  • ·         Hiccups

  • ·         Housing

  • ·         My water bottle

  • ·         Acceptance and learning in my current master’s degree program
