Holding On

Holding On

Holding On

This drawstring bag held up as long as it could. One side fell apart first. At first, I tried putting the string back where it was without any new extra support to no avail. I used some duct tape to restore the string for a period of time. Then, I accepted the loss of one effective string while holding stronger to the remaining effective string. That was until the final string could not hold on any longer.

So, what. Everything falls apart. Yes, that’s true. That’s how life goes. That knowledge does not make the process any easier. Still, everyone tries to see how long they can hold onto what is near and dear to them. Holding on can be helpful or hurtful. Eventually, moving forward is the next necessary step for finding what is the next force to hold onto.
