Picture Perfect
Look at this picture.
It may not be the best picture ever captured, yet it was what I was working towards.
How many times do you do you think it took to get the picture I wanted?
When I took this picture a couple years ago, I did not get it how I wanted it on the first attempt. At first the camera shook too much with the run. Then, a car drove by me. So on and so on until I got the picture how I wanted it to be while almost reaching the double digits of attempts.
Simply looking at the picture you may not think of the additional factors and toils which played a part in capturing the shot. Yet, that is the aim. You hide those negative, rough parts out of the way of notice as much as you can as long as you can. No one can see or know the mistakes, otherwise what will they think?
Are not photographs merely capturing life at certain moments which cannot be fully replicated again?
You can try as hard as you can to duplicate any moment in real life, and the feeling will be different even so. All of those factors from before will be aligned differently from the previous experience and new perspectives.
So, life is not merely made up of perfect moments but all types of the good, the bad, the ugly, and the retakes.
