Hope

            Today’s post photo is one I took a few years ago in Milwaukee. Basketball hoops around the world provide a sense of freedom, solace, and hope. A person can shoot baskets on their own or play games with others. For the length of time on the basketball court, there is an escape from the troubles of life off the court.

            More than a year ago, basketball hoops had their rims stripped away from their backboards. The peace once available put on a hiatus until the option would be viable again.

I am now more than a thousand miles away from the pictured court. I am not certain if that court is back to looking like this. However, the basketball courts near me are gaining their full state in time prime outdoor basketball time. Here is to hope that there will be a continued better state of life going forward in many ways.
