Consume
Two people are served books.
The first person consumes the book by opening the physical book.
The person meticulously reads through the words before them.
Each page is a slice of the book captivating full visual attention.
The second person consumes the book by hitting the play button.
The person consumes the book even while doing other tasks.
This person takes a slice of the book through hearing each word.
Each person goes at their own speed for consuming the book at hand.
One takes physical notes, and the other one takes mental notes.
Each person consumes the book from the appetizers to the dessert part of the meal.
How do you consume a book?
Do you take the audio or physical book option?
Do you consume the book slowly or quickly?
Do you take only take in the information of the book or take notes too?
Do you consume the same type of book or different types each time?
Do you have a favorite chef?
What is your favorite mental meal to consume?
Whatever your way or method is for book consumption,
Savor it.
