The Spotlight

The Spotlight 

A young lad found a spotlight lamp hidden in a thrift shop.

The lamp caught his eye and suddenly had the urge to have the spotlight.

When the lad had brought the spotlight into his apartment,

He plugged it in right away.

He tried to fight the knob to turn the spotlight on,

But he could not find it.

Later that night the lad read for the first time in many years.

Once the lad became engrossed in the story,

The spotlight lamp lit up brightly.

The following day the lad went to work

Where the lad passion and joy for money.

When the lad came home,

The spotlight lamp was dimly lit.

That night the lad pulled out a pen and paper for planned out an interested project.

As the lad was doing this,

The spotlight lamp lit up brighter.

During the following night,

The lad put those plans into action.

When the lad came home afterwards,

The spotlight lamp shown the brightest it possibly could.
