The Path Beyond

The present path is clearer than the one beyond.

Indeed, the present path may be muddied at points.

You turn your head backwards seeing the progress made on the path thus far.

Returning your head forward leads to finding the next portion blocked from sight at this time.

The path beyond now could be areas already cleared and paved,

Or the path will be needing trailblazing.

The path beyond could be lonesome,

Or the path consists of other weary travelers on their own journeys.
