Mind Miles

Mind Miles

Mind Miles

We stay on the track since it’s familiar.

Even if the feeling is dismal,

It’s familiar, nonetheless.

Running lap after lap of preservation.

Running miles and miles in circles in the mind.

The thoughts per mile become out of this world.

You cannot go far and see something new running circles.

The persistence in the perseveration only feeds the resistance.

The perceived movement and work shift into an illusion.

Then, action outside of the mind begins to tease out a path for the horizon.

The untouched path takes shape slowly chiseled by each step.
